The St. Benedict Technology Consortium offers full-spectrum technology support to schools and parishes in the Archdiocese of Chicago. Break-fix issues, network and wireless analysis and enhancement, professional development, website support, and assistance with administrative tasks such as budgeting and visioning are all benefits of membership.
The Consortium is a non-profit agency administered within the Archdiocese. It is staffed by VIRTUS trained employees, vetted to the same standards and using the same systems as Archdiocesan teachers. Costs for membership are significantly below other providers in the area (as a result of SBTC's non-profit vs for-profit business model), Membership is open to all Archdiocesan schools and parishes. SBTC is also available for smaller projects to non-member organizations. However, our members receive priority in scheduling projects. We're always glad to assist wherever we can.
